Appealing the voters of Derra Bassi, independent candidate, Deepinder Singh Dhillon said, "It's peak time to save the constituency from refused and cheater candidates. The time of judgement has come. Now the voters should be ready to use their weapon of vote without any greed or pressure."

In a multi cornered contest between parties from Derra Basi constituency seat, independent candidate, Deepinder Singh Dhillon showed his strength by addressing a massive rally at Zirakpur on the last day of Campaigning. Rally organized at baltana road kalgidhar enclave thrilled the supporters. More than eighteen thousand people of the constituency gathered at the rally. Even the independent MPs, former ministers and even Gujjar community came from all the way Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, Delhi and Rajasthan to support Dhillon.
